January can be a tough time of year for a gardener. It’s cold outside and most plants are dormant. What’s a gardener to do? Attend a seminar at Hicks!

This year the Winter Seminar Series at Hicks Nurseries offers something for everyone. Our talented staff members will present classes on everything from houseplants and orchid care to outdoor pruning, herbs and caring for the birds. All of our educational classes are free to attend and registration is not required. Join us this winter for a little camaraderie, education and fun! Spring will be here before you know it!

Easy Care Houseplants for Your Home

Caring for houseplants is easier than you think. This seminar will explore our favorite easy care houseplants as well as everything you need to know to grow healthy happy houseplants.

Learn how to attract birds to your garden all year long with tips about their need for food, water, nesting and shelter.
